The theraknows experience

One simple step.

Read the specimen. Decide who wrote it. We'll handle the rest, eventually.

The difference

Smaller samples.
Fewer characters.
A better experience.

Traditional authorship analysis requires a forensic linguist, a subpoena and a judge. The Edison™ needs one post and a hunch. Some specimens are a single emoji. We test them anyway. That's the theraknows difference.

Four blood collection tubes with colored caps

Clinically indistinguishable

The specimens nobody can agree on.

Drawn from the 100 most-tested specimens, closest to a 50/50 split first. Right now a specimen needs at least 5 tests to qualify. That's more than we used to need.

— The team managing this account

Elizabeth Holmes has been at a federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas since May 2023. Inmates are not allowed on the internet. And yet @ElizabethHolmes posts. A lot. Her partner, Billy Evans, holds power of attorney and the password. He says most posts come from emails she sends him, and that the rest are in his own voice.

“Starting now, all posts in my own words will be marked -EAH. Posts without that signature are from the team managing this account.”

For the first time in the history of the company formerly known as Theranos, there is a labeling system. It is applied by one of the two people it is meant to tell apart. theraknows therefore:

  • SCREEN every post on the account
  • STRIP the signature, so all you have is the words
  • ASK you who wrote them: Liz, or the team (Billy)
  • POOL your answer with everyone else's, since nobody can check
  • RANK you by how many tests you've given us
  • PUBLISH the specimens that split the crowd down the middle
